In January of 1989, I provided Deputy District Attorney Dick Lewis with a suspect behind the Gentile homicide and linked to 13 other cases. I was also asked to do surveillance for him and started political investigations. District Attorney Ed Miller knew nothing about this until 1999 when I sat at his table at a fund-raising dinner with him and his wife Barbara. But, that was six years after his San Diego Metropolitan Homicide Task force had disbanded. #TheWordWasFinallyOut
