Excerpt #35

I won the battle, but was losing the war. I previously mentioned when I first had a target on my back. From the time I first filed a grievance over my academy classes pay issue. That was long before the Gentile investigation. I was passed over for field training officer, “Nora” unit training which consisted of specialized training in evidence collection at crime scenes. Detectives from various investigative bureau’s requesting I receive investigative training with their unit. I was asked by Sergeant Dave Elliott from Robbery division to work their “Star” detail. This was a yearly special enforcement detail they ran between Thanksgiving to the first of the year. Undercover patrol and robbery units were added to the field during the holidays when liquor stores, grocery stores, banks and large businesses dealt with larger cash amounts and were prime targets for robberies. Sergeant Jake Jacobson from the Fencing unit also requested I work for weeks with his unit. Detective Steve Baker from Special Investigations also requested I work with their unit. Even my division at Eastern, the answers were all the same. Sorry, manpower shortages, can’t spare you. #Blackballed
